Dus June Ki Raat Web Series Review: 12 Episodes of Disappoinment

Dus June Ki Raat Web Series Review: The idea behind the show was decent, but the way it was presented was nonsense, it is completely Sundas.

Alt Balaji's new show, "Dus June Ki Raat", is now avaiable on JioCinema. So, is this show worth your time or not? Let's find out.

"Dus June Ki Raat" is based on a novel of the same name. The story follows a character who has always been considered unlucky, with nothing going right in his life. Everyone sees him as a misfortune. The plot introduces twists that change his life completely. To know what these twists are and how his life changes, you should watch the show on JioCinema. It has 12 episodes, each averaging 25 to 30 minutes.

Dus June Ki Raat Review

If I were to sum up the review of this show in a few words, it would be: If you have a lot of time to spare and want to waste it, you can watch this show.

It's not that the concept and theme aren't good. The idea behind the show was decent, but the way it was presented was nonsense, it is completely Sundas. It felt like a low-grade TV serial.

The show had potential for real thrills, but instead, it was filled with pointless chatter.

There was barely any real thrill; just when it seemed to build up, it was interrupted by irrelevant scenes.

The characters are so annoying and irritating that it’s frustrating. The show drags on unnecessarily, focusing on off-track topics. It felt like a third-rate serial. The production value was so poor, it was almost painful to watch. The sets looked extremely fake and cheap.

In terms of acting, we have Tushar Kapoor, who, despite his years of experience, lacks consistency in his performance. His acting is only good when he isn’t speaking. Once he starts talking, his acting falls apart, especially in comedy scenes, where his expressions are awkward.

The supporting cast is equally disappointing. Priyanka Chahar Choudhary, who you might remember from Bigg Boss Season 16, was okay, but the rest of the actors seemed to be from TV serials, not knowing that they were shooting for a web series.

The background music is also terrible, and the Nepali character added to the headache.

One thing friends, we have to appreciate the courage of JioCinema, they are spending a lot of money, they are getting content from anywhere and showing it on their platform, I mean, there was a dialogue in the movie Welcome that I will pick up from the street and make a start, remember, the same JioCinema is applying that nowadays, a day will come when JioCinema itself will come on the street if it keeps giving content like this in the future.

Conclusion

The show doesn’t contain much vulgarity, but there are a few profanities. Also, the story doesn’t conclude in Season 1. There will be a Season 2, and the trailer for it is already included at the end of Season 1.

So, that was my review of JioCinema's show "Dus June Ki Raat". Hope you found it helpful.
